TableScan Alarm (“the App”) is an offline reminder/alarm application that helps you create one-time alarms by scanning schedule tables using your device camera.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information from you.
The App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any user data with third parties.
2. Information You Provide
When you use the App, you may:
Take photos of schedule tables using your camera, and/or
Store reminders/alarms you create in the App.
This information is used only to provide the App’s core features (OCR detection and alarm scheduling).
3. How We Process Data
All processing is performed locally on your device:
Text recognition (OCR) is done on-device.
Reminders/alarms are saved in local storage (device database).
Notifications and alarms are triggered locally by the operating system.
No data is sent to any server. The App does not require an internet connection.
4. Data Storage
Photos you capture may be stored on your device (app storage) to enable preview and re-processing.
Reminder/alarm details (title, time, notes) are stored in a local database on your device.
You can delete reminders inside the App. If the App provides a “clear scans” feature, you can remove stored scan images as well. Uninstalling the App will remove the App’s local data from your device.
5. Permissions We Use
The App may request the following permissions:
Camera — to scan schedule tables.
Notifications — to show alarms and reminders.
Receive Boot Completed — to restore scheduled alarms after your device restarts.
Exact Alarm (if applicable) — to ensure alarms trigger at the exact time you selected.
These permissions are used only for app functionality and not for data collection.
6. Sharing of Data
We do not share your data with anyone. The App does not integrate with analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party tracking tools.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not designed to collect data from anyone, including children. Since no data is collected, there is no special processing related to children’s data.
8. Security
Because the App operates offline and stores data locally, the security of the information depends on your device’s security settings. We recommend using device lock features (PIN/biometrics) to protect your data.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last updated” date. Any changes will apply to future versions of the App.
